Here I commence my nonsense post
It will be COMPLETELY random
1. I feel like getting those cute animal slippers
You know those really warm kind
The fluffy ones with like bear heads
Ahahaha XD
2. Ms Wong caught me asleep AGAIN
And I was like in my state of blur confusion
So I randomly answered questions...RANDOMLY
It was quite a disaster
She put her comments nicely
"It's alright if you answer wrongly you know
At least you learn from your mistakes
So don't worry
Now's the time for you to do so"
Erm...I was asleep x_x
And uttering rubbish like
"Err, virus can hold more genes than bacteria"
Ms Wong: "No, actually they don't"
Me: "OOHH really?" -widens eyes in attempt to wake up-
Ms Wong: "Yes, try again"
Me: "-speechless-"
I think it is quite obvious that viruses are much smaller than bacteria -.-
I mean viruses is my best topic can
So I know the most about them
But it my state of bleariness...

3. I need lots of new things
But I'm broke

5. Flu flu go away, come again another day
I always get sick on the wrong days!
Why not on a pe day or a test day
Must be in the middle of nowhere
On good days
I hope I didn't pass the bug to any of the people at the day care centre we visited yesterday
Service learning was pretty fun!
Well okay a little boring at times
But time passed quite
I bonded okay with my client
This 40 year old woman called siew hoan who's slow in learning
But she can understand stuff
Only that she won't reply and all
Although she enjoyed the games we played and dance too!
She could do most of the steps
Quite cute (:
Ah if only she communicated more through words
Hope she wasn't bored by me
Because I'm not a naturally sociable person
Overall it was okay!
Ms Wong was a great sport
Playing the guitar, singing hokkien songs, helping out with bottle cutting

Like physically tired, mentally tired
Sigh
The stack of tissue in front of me is rising by the minute
But I have no choice
I need to STUDY bio
First I have to attempt reading everything once
And hopefully remember stuff la =/
Plus have to finish GP AQ
Or not ms sin will SKIN ME ALIVE
Cos its already late
And we didn't even ask for extension
When she kind of insisted that it be on time
Or 5 marks will be deducted for everyday we don't hand it in
Crap
But heck
I am going to get a negative mark for once?
Hahahaha
I can't even be bothered with what grades I get now
Just struggling to live through each day without dying
XD
Ah well...
Plus the two concerts coming up I have to practice for
All my time is gg to be consumed
But I have to press on as well!
There are many other people much busier than me
And I thought I had good immunity
Guess the s13 sick bug got to me...
And not on a pe day!

Celebrated Kenneth's birthday with bandies yesterday night
Went for dinner at pizza hut

Then we had our fun with the scandal and all again

No motivation
-stoning at econs notes-
See I'm even blogging instead of studying
I haven't actually flipped a SINGLE page either
GAH
Stupid tests
Why do they keep testing us?
Its supposed to keep track of our learning right
But what if we're not learning anything
Because they don't even teach properly!
Like for example
This year I finally didn't sleep at all for three econs lectures straight
And guess what
I think I would've been better off sleeping
Because I tried to highlight impt points on the powerpoint slides
And ALL the points were in the notes
ANDDD I almost highlighted the whole notes
So I must as well like go home and read it right?
Then I tried a different tactic
Writing down stuff she says which are like insightful
Then I realised
Everything she tried to explain
Was ALREADY explained there
Just that she's trying to rephrase it but the meaning is essentially the SAME
What's the point again?
How do you expect us to learn by forcefeeding us information
And making us memorise it
Without allowing us to absorb and teach it in a way
In which it is understandable?
And bio tests
Tell us the DAY before that we have a test tomorrow
What's the point of studying the night before?
Not like I know anything
I'm just plain engulfing the notes
And maybe vomiting it out tomorrow
How will this form of learning last?
It is ridiculous
Now I know why SAJC is so far behind on the JC ranking list
Its not the teachers or the notes or the culture
Its the METHOD
We aren't taught in a way it is simple to understand and apply
Not given opportunities to try things out
And correct us when we're wrong
Just feeding us the answers
And when we ask what's wrong?
They just say everything's wrong, THIS is right
Instead of telling us where we made the mistake
And how to make it right by ourselves
We're just sponges
Suck suck suck all day long
And at the end of it
We're supposed to squeeze everything out during A levels
CORRECTLY
And how?
Nobody knows...

Its difficult to pry my way out of the fog
Searching for an answer
And I just sink into my doubts
Believing the worst is not a solution
Wallowing in self-pity is not either
But why is it so impossible?
To prove worth and just have faith
Hurt.
I dunno what my parents are talking about
But I overheard a snippet of their conversation
Mom: "You said, I want the boy, not the girl"
Dad: -saw me staring- "No I didn't. GET OUT"
Ah well
It didn't sound like they were arguing much
Soooo I hope they were talking about erm dolls...
Talks at suntec by NTU today
I went for so many I'm more confused by the options
And the requirements are so strict
Competition is so high
I think I'll never make it
Sigh

More non-blogging days
This shows how utterly busy I am
Met up with my sec sch girls today
And like I compared my timetable with them and its like sooo different!
Like RJ and NJ ends school at between 12 to 1.30 everyday?!
Gosh
And mine is uber packed
Like an average of 3 to 4pm
Latest is like 5pm
Plus all those extra remedials and all )):
This is so unfair.
AND
We talked about some topics that we learnt in school
Somehow
They know tons more than I do!
Like Kutisin blue gel or something
For gel electrophoresis
I'm like totally lost can...
But I had a superb time with them!
Chiko, Kelda, Char, Kate and I
Lots of pictures but I need to get from them first
(:
Went to eat at cafe cartel and we were super ma fan
Ask to borrow freezer for cake
Then make special requests for meals
Then keep rushing them for food
Kelda's chicken wasn't cooked properly
It was like 1/3 raw
But quite little left only
Still we told them nicely and the waiter suggested to give her a new plate?
After 10 mins she decided she can't finish it
So she asked if she could have a refund
Then the manager came to cancel her order
And give her FREE ice cream somemore! XD
Hahaha
After that we like asked them to take out the cake
Then they gave us lots of tiny plates to put cake slices and all in
Soo good service
Hahah
Then after that we saw the bill and paid it $64.60 in all
And asked for a box to put the leftover slice in =x
But Kate wrote this nice note

Hm tuesday went with pau and stephy to watch PS I Love You!
At PS golden village haha
The movie was sweet and sad
But I laughed quite alot too

Like cos whatever the guy said was always so funny!
We ate at Ajisen Ramen for lunch with billy and vinnie too
Yummy paiku ramen and miso cha shu
I don't like paiku cos got alot of garlic ):
Grossness
I just felt like puking while eating
Except the ramen
I don't mind ramen in paiku soup!
Plus we had cuttlefish as well
Then after that I had to rush home I think
For dinner and all
Pau and Stephy left as well
But it was a nice time!
We finally went out together haha, since pau's always uber busy ):
Except my romantic valentine's day date though
So tired

Saturday had more exhausting band prac
And an extremely meaningless rehearsal
Because all I had to do was to

And act like a retard
And apparently that's my character

Hm, monday was ordinary
Just the stupid 7 rounds for pe AGAIN
Tuesday Stephy came over to bake!
Cookies for valentine's day
I shall post pics haha
Then my mom was like force-feeding her dinner XD
It was one of the nicer dinners she cooked
(which reminds me i didn't go home today for dinner )):
and she cooked my favourite tofu)
Wednesday was normal too
Plus super long band practice which I'm rather happy with!
At least I didn't screw up sectionals
Which means at least I can play something!
Haha, stupid american in paris
Confusing only, 5 sharps x_x
Then dinner at kfc and home to pack cookies
Had a fright cos I thought I didn't have any more gift wrap
And it was already 11pm so no stationery shops were open
At least I managed something!
Thursday was VALENTINE'S DAY!
All my darlings got their flowers
And I HOPE they were happy with them, haha
Plus the cookies as well
And I played alot with helium today!
Sounded like a chipmunk after sucking in
Hahah
Got several balloons too and took a picture with like tons XD
Lotsa vday gifts too!

Econs was shit as usual
And I fell asleep in GP again although I promised myself not to
After my classmates were probably quite pissed after I fell asleep

So nervous, kept shaking
I pray she didn't see the stupid droplet of iron (III) chloride that I spilled!

Then Vinnie, Stephy and I went for the movie screening in school!

At the school field like 7.30
Haha, held by the 30th student council!
And we just had to support them right
Or not they'll be SCREWED
It was pretty okay, rather cliched
But an interesting experience!
We were eating like Shin ramen on the mat stephy brought
And lots of snacks as well
While the cold wind like blew through the whole field
So I'm kinda freezing right now and might've the flu
But still fun!

It was an interesting week!
I wanted to take the lovers test with Vinnie hahaha
But I took a friendship one with Stephy instead
Hey at least I got three questions right!
The only reason I didn't get the strawberry one was cause I wasn't sure!

So exhausted
Today I almost broke my piggy record
Slept for 12 hours straight
Okay maybe not straight
I did wake up once at 5am and 10am
But I refused to get off
Put my head down and immediately fell asleep again
Ahhhh absolute PIG I am
Yesterday's visiting was fun!
Joanna, Aaron and I went to visit Rui Xian's in the morning
Gorged ourselves on pineapple tarts
Love letters, kueh bangkits and all the cny goodies I don't have at home
Hahah
Then when jo arrived we played card games and
MAHJONG!
Hahaha
Cos I like to play mahjong
But I'm not allowed to at home
So I never play anywhere else except ruixian's
Which isn't very often you see
=P
Then lunch! Which was yummmyyy (:
Met Daniel and Kenneth after that to go to jo's
Headed there to sit sit and watch
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street!!!
It was pretty good
The songs and the plot and everything
But it started off pretty boring
Because the introductions were too draggy
And they sang about almost the same thing during those parts
Then it started getting gruesome
With all the killings
The slitting of the throats and... x_x
Yeahh
But we had to leave halfway, rx left earlier than us
So the rest of us trooped over to take 857 to kenneth's
Oh did I mention that jo's house was super nice?
Like it looked so high tech and bleah, she's rich, lol
It was a long walk from the bus stop to kenneth's
But his house was better
Hahaha, it was like woahhh the moment you stepped in
Like full length wardrobes and everything was so neat
Haha
And us being pigs
Ate at his house again
We eat at everybody's house
Hahaha
Then played random games in his room
Like chinese chess and hearts again
Before dinner! Of kfc and pizza hut
So awkward cos his relatives came to visit
And we didn't know whether to sit or eat or what
In the end we ate and left for Central
Haha the atmosphere there was good
Jo and I bought Azabu Sabo green tea ice cream
Then we all sat at the edge of the Singapore River
The steps there to chill
And we ate and talked for like hours
Watched the elastic bungee thing and this new pendulum one
It looks super cool! XD
Dan and I wanted to try and blanjah twin and force him to take
Hahaha! Scaredy cat =P
But its real expensive though
And it looks super scary
Especially the part where it comes down and the ball is spinning
So you might be falling head first
Imagine plummeting 12 stories or more HEAD FIRST
T_T meep
But I'd still want to try!
Walked over to like Raffles Place
And jo and I didnt wanna walk any more
Because our feet were blistering and we were oh so tired
So we didn't go to Marina Bay in the end
Trained home!
Hahah, took lots of pics on the train
But it was all like blurrish and all
And she'll kill me if I posted any =x

Ahaha today I finally left the nasty confines of my silent home
Maybe not that silent
Its always my dad shouting
And my mom shouting back
When they're arguing about some random thing
And me and my brother each stoning at our own computers
Messing around with stuff
Anyway met daniel at his block late
Cos I always wake up late x_x
Then he was wearing really dark colours
Haha, and he didn't know cny not supposed to wear black!
Cos it brings bad luck
But lucky none of us are superstitious
Haha
Went twin's house for lunch! (:
Sorry we were so late and all
Steamboat was yummy!
And as usual I complained about his squatting toilet, lol
Then we headed to ps for movie
Ah long private limited
Hahaha
Was pretty nice la
Super funny at parts
I laughed until my stomach kept acheing!
Even though other parts were lame
But it was still hilarious
Its as usual chock full of hokkien and chinese and slangs
But new addition!

So I could actually get some jokes and all
But then their canto not zun one =X
Oh well
But its still a great show if anyone wants to watch
Think its like the best comedy so far by Jack Neo!
Then after that we headed to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream

But then I still think its not worth it
And I owe moolah...

Then dan left so we just went walk walk around
So stupid la
We happy happy go into istana
Then must queue and go through security check and all
Took quite awhile
Maybe 15 minutes?
Guess what we did after that?
Turn one round and get out of the place XD

Cos it looked boring and we've been there before
So walk walk walk until orchard
Went heeren HMV and look and talk

But its expensive and I go no money
I still owe $$$ so cannot borrow

And then he can go out

There are times when I feel all surrounded by friends
Basking in happiness and -wth! stupid ant bit me!!!-
And I forgot the other word I wanted to type
Anyway
Those are SOMEtimes
And there are NOW times
Where I feel all isolated from the world
Everybody's out there celebrating and gorging on food
FOOD la -.- I also want
And there's me here stoning at home
All bored and crappy because I wanna go out
But for obvious reasons at least 90% of the shops out there are closed
And silly me wanted to shop for clothes
When there are no people...
BUT there are no shopkeepers also -.-
Abit no point ah
I feel like just taking a little stroll around northpoint
But then it'll look like a dead city
And I'll look like a lost soul
Who's that idiotic to go looking around an empty mall
ARGHHHHH
I wanna go out
Staying at home drives me completely insane
Would someone accompany me to the park or something?
At least there's this nice breeze and sunshine there
AND I can actually wear the clothes I bought -.-
New year new clothes...nowhere to wear
Hahaha.
Gah every year is exactly the same, boring shit
And its not like I don't wanna go visit relatives
I'm dying to do so!
To see my *ahem* super shuai cousin
And the other pretty girls whom I can gossip with
In my limited canto that is, which isn't much, but heck!
At least there's companyyyyyyyyy
Which I lack and desperately want o_o
BUTTT there's that main catch
I have to be there and back in 4 days
And its not like my relatives are super free
They have their own like in-laws places to visit
So I'd probably have 8 different reunion dinners in four days
AND plus the airfare is really expensive
I refuse to fly budget...
The accomodation and food will be expensive too
Because reunion dinners aren't exactly just a tiny gathering at a food centre
I mean there aren't even hawker centres there
And its stupid to hold nice family stuff in cramped places
When we can hold them in lavish cantonese restaurants
Which are like EVERYWHERE
There's food everywhere in hongkong ((:
I miss it so!
Sigh
Its so dear in my heart
Even though I might not fit in because I'm Singapore bred
But its in me, I can feel it!

Maybe I should stop rattling complaining and whining
And go get some fresh air
Take little Bambi out perhaps
Might drive the moodiness away
