First time I swam since my exam
And argh
-aches everywhere-
Time trials
Correcting stroke
Repetitive swimming, laps and laps and laps
And all backstroke too
My poor legs feel horrible
After the time trials they were aching so much!
That I couldn't really move them anymore ):
And my timings went down
Rahhh
Now I'm AWFULLY slooooowwwwww
Well at least I have a new year's eve party at Stephy's!
To look forward to (:

Slacking the whole day at home as usual
Ah boring
Didn't want to touch my homework for the day
But I guess I'll start tomorrow
Then went for potluck!
OCIP 2007 + seniors thing

Every trip about eleven people went
So it wasn't a very grand thing
Plus we had expensive catered food
But at least I got to meet up with everyone again
And talk about rubbish and all that
I'd better:
- Attempt the maths questions I skipped or dunno how to do
- Study for bio test
- Do econs homework
- Finish up bio tutorial
- Finish up chem worksheets

Inspired by Stephy
I seemed to have had a weird dream too =/
Just last night it fact
I dreamt that I was having some torture camp
On a weird island
Then I was having such a horrible time
I cried alot, I ached alot
Then I just wanted to run away
So I looked over the edge of the island
Then suddenly I saw a ton of clouds and blue sky
The island was in the middle of the air -_-
So I got really depressed and moody
Because if I tried escaping I'd jump to my death
Oh I didn't mention
I was with the clar girls too, lol
Then one of the days we had to ferry mud in huge buckets
And it was such a backbreaking job
Another day, one of the challenges was, okay this will sound weird
Pardon me
But we had to run in just singlets and shorts in the cold
Like up and down the corriders in a weird sky palace thing
Owned by some dragon =/
Then we ran so much and weren't allowed to stop or we would be killed
But it was freezing
In the sky you know, like what minus zero degrees celsius
Then everybody was so tormented and upset
Joanna was complaining that it was unfair
One day the dragon wanted to fly somewhere
But like planes they need to gather speed
So all of us (there were many other people of course)
I think about forty thereabouts
Had to put their arms around the scaly body
Then lift it
Then all run and run in circles and we weren't allowed to stop again
Or we'd get trampled on or scolded
And =x XingTong was screaming and hanging on to the dragon
Cos erm SORRY!
The rest of us were running real fast and we were taller
So she was kinda in the air
Okay this is a dumb dream I know x_x
So we were all exhausted and really depressed
And this spaceship thing came to save us!
Pardon my rubbishing
I seriously don't know why I dreamt it
Then it was like those robot things in Gundam Seed
And we were all flying home
All of us were so delighted and everything
Then when we landed I was so relieved
But then I realised we left someone behind
So in a crazy moment I sprinted to another robot thing taking off
And flew off with them
Super unhappy about going back but...
Okay I woke up then XD
Everyone reading this must think I'm nuts right now
LOL
Forgive me!
I just thought I felt like posting it
Although its insanely ludicruous

The day before was spent with Stephy
Went to COOS to watch to Christmas Musical
Which Ryanna danced in!
It was really lovely, but a little boring

Then to Stephy's godparents place for dinner
I feel so bad for not bringing any gifts ):

And the other day he was lecturing me about cab fares rising
How I shouldn't take them so often
When he's the one who told me to do so
So that I could get home for dinner IN THE FIRST PLACE

Today was playing for some PP christmas party thing
It went not bad
At least gabriel and benny thought it was pretty good
But I played quite a few wrong notes
And some REALLY fast parts

And packed them in with water
x_x they were still jumping btw
JUMPING...
Then I was having second thoughts about carrying it back
But I wanted to eat crab
So we asked him for one
And he was like "Yi ge? Na li gou chi?"
Try only mah, plus we dunno how to kill it
I was erm, planning to cook it alive actually
Eheh...
Then when we saw him chop it to kill it
And put it on a plate
Instant reaction
"I'm taking the prawns!"
Poor stephy =P
But they kept jumping about inside x_x
SICKENING, I felt like dumping it on the floor
Then we looked so helpless holding the plate of squirming crab
That the guy took pity on us (:
And helped us chop it up
But still, it was twiching all the way back
It was still spasming when I cooked it really

Ooh I was so tired that I didn't know
That I talked about the haunted house twice

Okay, on the first day of the genting trip
We went shopping!
Like nuts
Spent 160 ringgit just like that
In a MERE 4 hours
Then at night to Starbucks for drinks
Cake and more! Chilling out...
Second day
We wanted to go play theme park
But it was sooo rainy and misty
So we decided not to because it wasn't worth it
Went to watch the golden compass instead!
It's a really good movie (:
I can't wait for the rest to come out
But I guess people who read the book wouldn't like it?
Heard it doesn't follow the storyline much
Then more shopping!
This time it was to look around the WHOLE shopping centre
And also went arcade to shoooot
Haha, played time crisis 3 and the house of the dead 3
I love shooting games ((:
Ohh I remember we played spot the difference too!
Lame but really addictive, haha

Mandy is back!
Genting was real fun (:

Which keeps bringing me to memories of the haunted house
How I kept screaming like siao
And running in front of them
So I won't be grabbed from behind

Theme park was real fun though!
We kept confessing our LURVEEE to each other
Up on the space shot XD
Haha like almost 12-15 storeys in the air
Surrounded by mist and clouds
I could see the clouds BELOW me!
And all the tiny houses
When it dropped I screamed like siao AGAIN
Hahahah
I felt like I was flying!
But not in a good way
Like flying off my seat and then doing a free fall all the way down
Everytime after the ride
My heartbeat is a BLUR -_-
Corkscrew was fun too
And also EuroXpress and bumper cars
Haha
I had a pretty great time on the rides
Even though I took the space shot 3 times
I was still screaming my lungs out on the last one
Cos finally the mist cleared
And I could actually SEE myself hurtling down x_x
EEEEEKKKKK
Then we also went to the Van Helsing haunted house
The graphics were freaky
Then the actors kept following us and grabbing us
And I just kept screaming and screaming
Mine's REALLY high pitched btw
I think I killed Lester's eardrums
Since I started most of the screaming =x

The trip was such an experience
Amazing, fun, tiring
Everything really
I still remember our great team-building activity
The one we dub
"The great mission: Saving Jamie's Adidas ball"
Spent almost an hour on that
Flushing water
Digging it will long poles
I thought it was REALLY useless at the beginning
But we kind of bonded alot over it
Saw how people were so focused on simply retrieving a ball
How every SINGLE member on our team
Felt responsible for the loss
Simply because it belonged to one of our dear friends
Everyone was going all out
Trying to help it one way or another
Just becase we want her to be able to hold it
And smile at our efforts (:
We didn't manage to by the way
But we had a super funny farewell R.I.P. ceremony

Reached Padi Mas hotel!
Then we took a group pic outside
And found out there's BIG supermart right opposite
COOL cos = alot of FOOD
Then dumped our stuff and went to visit the schools
My group went to the Primary School
006 Pongkar Primary and all the kids there were so adorable!
Entered a primary 1 class and they were so intimidated
Saw lots of English charts hanging
So I thought they can at least speak some English
But actually no
Cause they don't have the opportunity to use it
Ah well, so here's what we have to do!
Help! Haha
Then we went to the back of the school
And saw this like patch of earthy area
Where there were pillars marked out
So I guess we build the library extension there
The before and after is so different I can assure you XD
Formed a chain and transferred bricks
Ended up at the end of it
So I had to carry the brick into the area
Then stack them correctly
Tiring x_x
Thennnn it DRIZZLED but we continued working
Lalalala...Trudging in mud
But Yishi, Vannie and I managed to build FIVE layers
Of our beautiful wall! (:
Then we had dinner at a Muslim house
One of the guides' family's home
They cooked really well
And were nice to us even though we were quite a noisy bother
Then there was a blackout
One of many we were soon to realise
But it made me learn that
There are sooo many ways we still can help this island as a whole
Firstly, the electricity problem XD

Super fun
Yi Shi, Vannie, Yu Jun and I went to teach at a Primary 4 class
Taught them colours, time and things in the classroom
In Bahasa Inggris of course (:
They were REALLY eager to learn
And were enthusiastic
Let them colour masks and also sing songs too
So cute!
They sang I'm a little teapot
And we taught them You are my sunshine
Oohh I love this class
My little pacar Adisaputra is from this class tooo!

- MY Birthday! ((:
Haha, I hoped it'd be a fun day
And it was pretty good!
We all really clicked and bonded
Built the top layers of the wall today
Wai Sum joined us!
So I taught her how to cement and put bricks
Super tiring to lift them off the ground
Then climb onto our 14 brick stack
So we can reach the top and place it carefully there
Muscles ache like siao
Did plastering too
Oh and balloon sculpturing for class three!
They were really excited
And all in their traditional garb today
Soon chaos ensued and it was crazy
All the kids just wanted a balloon to play with XD
Then they emptied the packet
Picked their favourite colours
And squeezed all around us (Jasrin, Tony and I)
Just so that we can pump and tie one for them
That day my fingers were cracked, numb, dry and -.-
Hahahaha
At least they're happy! (:
Well another thing I did today was to perfect a flower!
Went to climb on the scaffold and help out at the mural
Where Yishi the Cantik maria was there with her little Zakariah
Then to paint the white veins on a leaf
Wanted to try something differen you see
Then got my butt red and orange
Cos I stupidly sat on paintbrushes...
Ah well
But I'm weird =/
I like climbing things but I'm scared of heights
Hahah
Anyway my dear Karimun team was sooo nice!
To celebrate my birthday at night
Hantu is a really good actress la
What cockroach infestation!!!
Hahaha
So they sang Happy Birthday and gave me magnolia ice cream
And let me blow out this HUMONGOUS candle

Saturday~
- Ladeeda Mandy wanted to slack
Cos she was feeling cranky
So went to help with the spray painting of the SAJC OCIP 2007
On the mural
Just to like position and hold it la
Then got stomachache =/
Ah well
So in the end left Zimu to do it alone there =x
Then helped with plastering of the wall
Super annoying at first la!
Its like Piak on the wall, smear, ahhhh...nice
Then you bend down then Plop
You see all the cement just nice miss your head
And land on the floor
...
But managed to do some plastering
Until I got uber fed up
So helped with the using a wet paintbrush
And making the wall smooth and pretty thing
MUCH better at that thank you XD
Left work at close to 12 today
Cos we had to do a Social Cultural Performance!
-trembles- I don't like performing...
Glad it went fine though!
Travelled to a school where it all went on
Then performed the dance
That we had been practicing for SO SO SO long
Smaller audience than I expected
But good (:
Less people to be horrified of
All our little GANTENGs came to watch though! ((:
More Club 27 partying later!

Sunday~
- There's nothing in my journal about today
Because we had to write on a positive trait of our trip people
Including the teachers, and an improvement as well
So my book is half full of that
Anyway we headed to Tidal Village this morning
Wasn't as impressive as I thought
It would've been cooler if the tide ACTUALLY came in (:
Quite nice to see that it has a rustic air
And all the little piggies and doggies running around
The people spoke in hokkien and malay
So I could guess what they were saying at least
Even though BOTH to me are foreign
At least I understood when the auntie said
That her rooster was injured when it was bitten by a dog!
((: Seeee...pro hokkien and malay XD
Then we headed to the stone quarry
Where all the controversy was
About the Indonesian sand ban to Singapore and all
But it wasn't very special
We were just looking at um ALOT of sand
And being feasts for mozzies
I saw THREE on me at one time!
YUCK
But the knowledge we gained from Ravin was something different
I didn't know all that from newspaper reports
Even though I read quite often
It was a refreshing take on the topic
That 1/8th of Karimun is in fact the quarry
And its ACTUALLY owned by a Singaporean
Controversial...
Went shopping after that
To a place a little like bugis street
Bought a pair of jeans
Finally something different to wear!

Pasar Malam was disappointing
That's pretty much all I remember
Except we shopped ALOT at Padi Mas too
Snacks and everything for mommy
OHH and Yishi and I got lots of stuff tooo!
For our pacars and little children there
I still owe her alot of ka-ching!
Monday~
- ALL of us went to the primary school today
To say our final farewells
It was really emotional I mixed around with the kids ALOT today
Cos I know I'll really miss them when I'm gone )):
Finished up the floor Mostly fetched cement towards the end
Took alot of pictures Gave out alot of presents
And got two love letters (: Haha
The closing ceremony was so emotional
I didn't really cry but I was feeling so horrible within
Because Salasiah and Mirna were sitting on my lap
But they didn't really understand what was going on
So I just had to smile and tease them a little
So that they won't get upset and cry
But after the song "Separation" to the tune of Auld Lang Syne
And when they all queued up to put our hands to their heads
In a sign of respect
I could tell that they were unhappy
Then my little girl burst into tears towards the end
During the phototaking session
And I just couldn't bear to leave them all behind
So I thought the least I could do
Was to leave something for her as well
So I wrote "saya suka salasiah" on piece of paper and gave it to her
Seeing her tears fall was really painful
And how she folded it carefully and placed it in her bag
At least I got to hug her goodbye
I'm glad we did leave the school in a better state
And all the children really appreciated us being there though (:
I miss Karimun Island!
The ferry ride back was uber sickening though
I just felt like puking
Emo emo all the way home
Especially since I couldn't get a cab and had to take 855 back
Ah well
I miss everybody so much!
My club 27 people and also the rest
We'll all go back next year!
For sure~

I'm having bad bad bad diarrhoeaaaa!

Must be the horrifyingly FREEZING aircon there 22 degrees...
I was trembling in my sleeping bag
And no one could sleep early cos of the noise
People laughing, playing etc
Haha, well I contributed to that at the last night
And slept at 6am XD
But STILL... hahah
The pieces we played, some were nice
But it was really really challenging
I'm still not up to it yet
But I'll continue trying!
What Benny said was quite true
And it hit quite close to heart for the other clar girls
I didn't feel that emotional because I haven't been with them long
But I can understand what they're going through
And hopefully we can all get along fine!
Better late than never
At least he's nicer now ((:
And we'll work harder as well
To prove that we're equally competent as a section
And not let him down anymore, right girls? (:
The camp was a good experience too
Learnt how to focus, listen
Get pitch control, tone balance
And also the solo was good exposure
Even though it nearly killed my nerves
I'm glad I did okay at least!
Practice paid off...
I played it almost 50 times I think
Hahahaha
And finally its over
All those macs breakfasts and malay food lunch/dinners
Woahhh so sick of them
And American in Paris was boring too
ZZZ...
But I enjoyed it pretty much ((:

And mommy and her cooking!
Plus I'm really disappointed I couldn't see my dear Karimun friends yesterday
So badly wanted to go out with them! ):
But then I couldn't leave little Rui Xian to queue alone
From deciding to leave her there at 8
Cos I was bored and fed up xD

Then finally decided to stay on
So it ended like 9.10
But all my friends were leaving too

Yesterday with little terrors to play Dark Adventure
Then night time MORE practice with the scary person

My lower lip is swelling
Glad its over though

And an amazing experience even though we had really hard work
